Ministry Update

2026

This year, we’ve seen God move among us in extraordinary ways.

As a church family, our vision remains clear: to grow God’s family through pursuing Christ, training leaders, and planting churches to renew society.

We want to pause, to say thank you, and to celebrate what God has done through us together.

Growing God’s Family

Alpha

Through Alpha, we’ve created spaces for people to ask questions, explore faith, and encounter Jesus.

Across our Alpha Courses this year, over 300 people from different ages, backgrounds and beliefs have come together to explore what it means to follow Christ. 60 churches were represented at our Run Alpha trainings, learning how to make invitation a way of life in their church, and being equipped to run Alpha in their communities.

At Bishops, Youth Alpha regularly gathered well over 100 teenagers each night, with around 160 at the launch.

And our Young Adults Alpha averaged 35 to 45 people each night.

We believe that growing God’s family starts with helping people meet Jesus.

Our youth ministry has grown too. Friday nights have grown from around 25–30 consistent young people last year to 35–55 most weeks this year, reaching 70 on one night.

We've also gone from around 5–7 youth leaders to an incredible team of 20, all serving the Lord and the teens diligently.

Our new youth small groups are gathering each week, and through camps like The Gathering and Focus, and our Mission Trip, young people are stepping into community, discipleship and mission together.

  • 70 teens at The Gathering

  • 41 teens at Focus

  • 37 teens on Mission Trip

And as God grows His family, He grows the family of people who serve it.

Our new 9:30 service has grown into a community averaging around 90 adults and 40 children.

And behind that service is a growing team of people who have said yes to serving. 39 people are now serving across welcoming, hospitality, prayer ministry, service leading and kids check-ins.

CCKids & Youth

God is growing His family from even the youngest among us.

Our Amplify community has seen massive growth, with consistently around 40 preteens on Fridays and 30 on Sunday mornings.

And as the community has grown, so has the team. 12 Amplify leaders have been trained and equipped to serve.

Our CCKids Holiday Club welcomed around 150 children on average each day, supported by 55 leaders.

Services

This year, we've celebrated baptisms, reaffirmations of baptismal vows, infant baptism and dedications.

6 BAPTISMS
15 REAFFIRMATIONS
1 INFANT BAPTISM
6 DEDICATIONS

Each of these numbers represents a person, a story and a decision to follow Jesus.

And we've seen incredible growth among our young people.

Our SIXPM service has nearly doubled, growing from around 50 people to close to 100 weekly. Small groups have grown and multiplied and the Young Adults ministry has continued to flourish.

Pursuing Christ

But growing his family doesn't stop at meeting him.

It means learning to pursue Christ.

This year, through Marriage and Pre-Marriage courses, and our Bereavement Journey, we’ve walked alongside people through some of life's biggest moments, at nearly 100 people attending across these courses.

Through Welcome Parties, we've helped people move from simply attending church to becoming part of the family.

Training Leaders & Planting Churches

And that's why training leaders is at the heart of our vision.

This year, we've invested in the next generation of leaders through our internship programme.

12 interns have been part of the programme across different years and levels of training, with 5 advanced interns who are both studying and working, and 7 first year interns, who as we partner with Live 2:6, are being trained and equipped for life and ministry.

People who are learning to lead, learning to serve, learning to disciple and learning to take responsibility for God's mission.

The church is being shaped by the leaders we train today.

To Renew Society

And our vision has never been limited to what happens inside these walls.

Through mission trips, our outreach partners, Alpha in different contexts, and initiatives like Project Exodus, we want to see the love and truth of Jesus reach further.

We exist to renew society.

It has been a year full of God’s goodness – where lives have been changed, leaders trained, communities impacted, and His Kingdom extended.

As we look back with gratitude, we also look forward with faith, trusting God for what lies ahead.
